Golden Girl at the Paralympics

Congratulations Sarah Pascoe for winning
our first gold medal. 

Fiona Southorn won a bronze medal 

This afternoon we had some discovery time. 

We talked about taking turns, sharing, suggesting ideas and listening to each other's ideas.

What are the Paralympics?

It is very special because a former pupil of our school  Tim Prendergast in competing in the Paralympics.

Today we had some special kindergarten visitors in our class.

During the past few weeks we have been studying measurement. This week we have been using non standard units of measurement to measure things around the classroom.

We measured things around the classroom. We measured with our hands, feet, and even with a long lizard.
